“There are two mistakes one can make along the road to truth — not going all the way, and not starting.”
“Beginnings are always messy.”
– John Galsworthy
Everything has a beginning. (And a Middle, and an End, but we’re not going there!) Beginnings are for risk takers. Beginnings are for innovators and dreamers. Of course, success comes to those who finish, but you can’t finish anything you haven’t started.
And that goes triple for writers.
That great American (or where you are) novel isn’t going to magically write itself. That play, that script, that song lyric. Nothing is going to become this great piece, this artwork, that you envisioned, unless you start it. You have to take the reigns, and go.
….Seriously! Go already!
